Phase 1 - Completed

The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has established a citizens-based Task Force approach to obtain input and direction regarding vision for transportation within the SR54/56 corridor.

Phase 1

This approach has resulted in the development of two Task Forces for Phase 1:

  • West Task Force (focused on the western part of the corridor from US 19 to West of US 41)
  • East Task Force (focused on the central part of the corridor from West of US 41 to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard)

Each task force will hold a series of three meetings to support the development and submittal of Task Force recommendations to the Pasco County MPO Board.

During these meetings, Task Force members will discuss the SR 54/56 corridor, including existing conditions, anticipated growth, future conditions, previous studies relevant to the corridor, recent public outreach and survey results, and other related information of interest to each Task Force.
